pilatesClass Descriptions: What we offer

Private Sessions
Private sessions work one on one with a certified Pilates instructor and run 55 minutes in length. This session combines the use of both apparatus and matwork and allows the instructor to develop a customized series of exercises to address each client's needs, goals, and previous injuries. The use of privates sessions is very beneficial to the continuing Pilates participant because it provides them with the one-on-one instructions needed to improve precision, more advanced exercises, address specific issues and further rehabilitate any past injury. It is recommended that all new clients complete a private session before entering into our group classes.

Semi-Private
Semi-private sessions include two clients and one instructor. This session works best when two clients are able to participate at the similar fitness levels. Working side by side with a partner, you will complete both apparatus and matwork to achieve your goals. Many clients prefer to alternate semi-private and private session for a complete and cost-effective weekly workout. Semi-private sessions run 50-55 minutes in length.

Tower Classes
Tower classes include three-five clients working with one instructor. This class incorporates matwork and the Pilates wall-unit. The wall unit uses springs and bars to target the core and work on elongating the muscles of the body. Tower classes run 50-55 minutes in length.

Mat Classes
This class is a group class which incorporates basic Pilates matwork. Mat classes focus on the basic principles of Pilates, abdominal control, breathing, concentration, centering, precision, posture and basic body awareness are emphasized. Arm weights and the Magic Circle are also used. Classes run 45-55 minutes in length.
